I heard that there was a "free ice-cream social" in Prospect Park today. This was it - five kids and the staff of the Lefferts Historic House hunched around a hand-cranking ice-cream machine. I didn't have the heart to sit and wait while they worked...especially when the handle broke .But I still say that Brooklyn is the best Borough. & Thanks to the nice man at the Lefferts House for letting me take this picture.
